AC SCHNITZER UNVEILS RESTYLED 500-HP BMW M4 AHEAD OF ESSEN DEBUT














The 2014 Essen Motor Show is ready to open its doors, with Europe’s answer to SEMA promising visitors some wild aftermarket projects.AC Schnitzer has revealed what it has in store with the unveiling of the BMW M4 Coupe, which has received a 78-hp performance upgrade meaning the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six unit is now delivering 503 hp. A choice of quad exhaust or two large tailpipes is also on offer, finished in carbon fiber.The M4 can be dropped by up to 30 mm at the front and 15 mm at the rear thanks to a spring kit, or 40 mm up front and 30 mm at the rear courtesy of an adjustable racing suspension, while an aerodynamic package includes a carbon-fiber front spoiler, rear diffuser, roof spoiler, rear wing, and mirror covers.The German tuner has also prepared a range of alloys up to 21 inches in size. Inside, buyers can spec a gear knob with digital gear display, aluminum pedals and various other unique embellishments.
