A PORSCHE 911 HYBRID BY 2018?







Maintaining the reputation of its iconic 911 means Porsche has always been at the forefront of automotive technology. In order to continue to satisfy all of its 911 purists (and there are plenty), Porsche has no intention of dropping its rear-engine configuration. But the carmaker is considering throwing an electric motor into the mix. In fact, a new report coming from Car Advice claims the next-generation 911 will very likely utilize hybrid power.Speaking with Porsche CEO Matthias Muller recently, the publication reports that an all-new 911 is due in 2018.
