TOYOTA UNVEILS ONE-OFF SIENNA-BASED BUBBLE-BLOWING SPONGEBOB CONCEPT IN LA

Toyota made a splash at SEMA 2013 with a Spongebob-themed Highlander, and has once again partnered with Nickelodeon in creating a new 3D concept based on everyone’s favorite porous pal.Unveiled at the 2014 LA Auto Show this week, the one-off Siennna sports a 3D Spongebob Squarepants exterior with nods to the upcoming flick, “The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.”The sea-dwelling invertebrate’s Superhero Incredibubble mask blows real bubbles at the top of the car, while the interior boasts seats inspired by Spongebob’s Bikini Bottom buddies, as well as a Captain’s steering wheel, wood-grain dash, blue-sky headliner and sand-inspired floor.After debuting in LA, the Spongebob Sienna will go on a promotional tour of the film.
