VOLKSWAGEN IS PREPPING THE GRC BEETLE FOR RALLYCROSS

The Volkswagen Beetle, the original at least, has quite a history in motorsport. Most are familiar with those old Baja Bugs that tore up the Southern California desert and every other barren wasteland their drivers ventured. But things have come a long way since then, especially technology. Those old air-cooled Beetles are out of production, having been replaced by not one, but two successors already. And the latest Beetle is something of a bad ass itself. That college girl favorite bubble shape of its predecessor is gone.
