THE BMW E30 IS A PREREQUISITE FOR ALL GEARHEADS

Thie original BMW 3 Series was perhaps the best 3 Series ever. Sure, BMW has evolved the model over the years, but every now and then a carmaker gets everything right the first time around. Many say that's exactly what happened with the E30. It’s up there with the Mazda MX-5 Miata as a true driver’s car, and perhaps it’s an even better choice. Having a backseat helps. It’s rear-wheel-drive and has a linear power band. The whole package just works, but there’s a downside: maintenance costs run ridiculously high.
