A few days ago Lamborghini released a brief teaser shot of a new concept it’ll unveil at Paris next month. We really had no clue what this thing could be. Lambo gave it this tagline: "Once perfection is achieved, you can just double it." Could that mean a sedan? A crossover? Or perhaps a reborn 2+2 like the Espada? Your guess is as good as ours. However, the folks over at Autoblog.nl have potentially uncovered a major clue. Earlier this month, Lamborghini applied to trademark the name Asterion.Heck, there was even a logo attached to the application. Take a closer look at it and you’ll notice a lightning bolt in the center of the 'O'. And, by the way, the name Asterion comes from Greek mythology, the name of a creature that’s half man, half bull. Very interesting, indeed. We’ll just have to wait a couple of more weeks until we get the official answer and full details.Sunday, September 21, 2014
