AUDI CONFIRMS NEW TT RS IS COMING TO PARIS

The announcement isn't exactly groundbreaking, but we’re still glad that Audi is forging ahead with the next-generation high-performance TT. Audi executives have now confirmed that the new TT RS will be unveiled next month at the Paris Motor Show.We can also confirm that it’ll be powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine. A specific power output wasn’t mentioned but the previous-gen TT RS was rated at 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque.It also had a turbo five-cylinder, but Audi was forced to completely redesign it in order to comply with emissions regulations. The new TT RS, in a nutshell, will be lighter, more powerful, and with greater fuel efficiency than its predecessor.In related news, Audi has confirmed the next-gen TT Roadster will also be making its debut at Paris.
